How we handle your data
We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand how visitors use the site. This service is cookieless and does not collect personally identifiable information. It records anonymized page views, referrer URLs, browser type, and device category. No data is shared with third-party advertisers.
This site uses a service worker to cache pages and static assets on your device so the dashboard loads faster and works offline. This data stays on your device and is never sent to our servers. You can clear it at any time through your browser settings.
Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and make a purchase, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. Affiliate relationships do not influence our conditions data, scores, or recommendations.
If you submit the advertising inquiry form, we collect the business name, contact name, email, and message you provide. This information is used only to respond to your inquiry and is not shared with third parties.
If you email us at joe@crabisland.report, your message and email address are used solely to respond to your inquiry. We do not add you to any mailing list.
This site does not use cookies. We do not track you across websites or build advertising profiles.
Conditions data comes from public U.S. government APIs operated by NOAA and the National Weather Service. When you load the dashboard, your browser does not contact these services directly — our server fetches the data and delivers it to you. No personal information is sent to any third party.
A related application uses the Google YouTube Data API solely to upload and manage videos on behalf of the authenticated user. No Google user data is collected, stored, or persisted by the application. No Google user data is transferred to or shared with third parties, advertising platforms, data brokers, or information resellers. Because no Google user data is stored, there is no data to retain or delete. If you believe the application holds any of your data in error, contact joe@crabisland.report to request its removal.
The application's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
This site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will remove it promptly.
